According to SoClean, the ozone smell is a byproduct of activated oxygen oxidizing old cleaning materials or new CPAP equipment. The smell should decrease over time, but you can try these steps to help it go away faster: - Increase cleaning time: For a few weeks, increase the cleaning time to 11 minutes, then decrease it back to 7 minutes - Run CPAP before use: Run your CPAP machine for 10 minutes before using it - Avoid fragrance products: Don't use any fragrance products to clean your equipment

Turn on your device and click Home > My Options. Under Comfort, press EPR. Rotate the dial to select on or off and confirm your EPR setting by pressing down on the dial. We do recommend consulting with your doctor if you'd like to adjust this setting. Thanks for reaching out!

EPR stands for Expiratory Pressure Relief. It is a feature on some CPAP machines that lowers the air pressure delivered to the user as they exhale, making it easier for the user to breathe out against the air pressure, and can help breathing feel more natural and smoother.
